Mindfulness and Its Relation to Academic Procrastination among University Students

This study explored the level of mindfulness among Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University students and its relation to academic procrastination. The was randomly chosen from different levels be suitable for sample this study, where 1890 female were chosen. A total 206 science arts sections participated in study. descriptive approach used because it more For statistical analysis conclusions, two measurement scales devised by researcher used: Mindfulness Scale Academic Procrastination Scale. To find suitability those scales, honesty stability factors implemented on both. data processing, SPSS program compute means, correlations, 1-taled 2-tailed t-tests students' scores scales. Results revealed that had a high both statistically significant inversely proportional relationship found between procrastination at (0,5) level. Furthermore, differences favor seventh students. No indicated (0,5)level specialization (science vs. arts). After results, recommended have concern counseling programs which aim develop mindfulness, increase awareness, also pay attention educational situation. Moreover, do tasks time, will help make positive cooperation build confidence teaching staff members. In addition, implementing eliminate feature emphasized significance improving E-learning using new technology process attractive.
